Tour Plan
Start your journey early in the morning from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate, crossing the majestic High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Enjoy the spectacular panoramas and the perched Berber villages. A stop is planned for lunch en route. Continue your journey to Agdez and follow the ancient caravan route to Zagora, the gateway to the desert.
In the afternoon, head to M’Hamid, the last village before the Sahara, to reach the bivouac at Erg Lihoudi. Enjoy a walk to admire the sunset, followed by a traditional dinner and a magical night under the stars in the bivouac.
After a revitalizing breakfast at the bivouac, embark on a camel adventure back to M’Hamid (approximately 2 hours journey). Enjoy lunch at a charming hotel nestled in the heart of the M’Hamid palm grove, a tranquil oasis. In the afternoon, set off to explore the Chigaga dunes, crossing 60 km of wild and untouched desert. Upon arrival at the bivouac, enjoy a welcome tea and immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere with an evening of nomadic songs. Have dinner and spend the night at the bivouac, surrounded by the majestic Chigaga dunes.
After a memorable breakfast in the heart of the desert, board a comfortable 4x4 and drive an additional 90 km through the desert, passing by Lake Iriqui. Stop for lunch in the first village after the desert, Foum Zguid, before continuing your journey to Ouarzazate or Marrakech. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon, concluding this unforgettable adventure in the Moroccan desert.
