Departing from Ouarzazate in the morning towards the Skoura Oasis, renowned for its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Crossing the Valley of the Roses to El Kelaa M’Gouna, you'll be immersed in the vibrant colors and intoxicating scents of the famous Damask roses. Lunch at the foot of the Dades Gorges, where the red rock walls contrast with the blue sky. A stroll along the Dades River will allow you to explore this spectacular landscape. In the afternoon, continue to the Todra Gorges for a walk in this impressive natural setting. Dinner and overnight stay at the Todra Gorges.
After a refreshing breakfast at the Todra Gorges, you'll head towards Merzouga through the Tafilalet Valley, a fertile oasis known for its delicious dates and lush palm groves. A lunch stop awaits you in Erfoud before continuing to the majestic dunes of Merzouga. A 1.5-hour camel ride will take you to the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can admire the magical sunset over the golden desert. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional camp under a breathtaking starry sky.
After breakfast at the camp, you will continue your journey through the Draa Valley, passing through Alnif, a region renowned for its fossils. In Tazzarine, a peaceful village in the heart of the desert, you'll have a lunch break before heading towards Zagora via the Djbel Zagora track. Upon arrival, explore this historic city that once served as a trading crossroads for caravans crossing the Sahara. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel, where you can soak in the unique atmosphere of this oasis in the desert.
Your final day will begin with a visit to Tamgroute, famous for its pottery artisans and its ancient Quranic library, a cultural treasure located just 18 km from Zagora. You will then return to Ouarzazate, passing by the Tamnougalt kasbah near Agdz, following the ancient caravan route through the Tizi-N-Tinfifite pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and palm groves before concluding this unforgettable adventure.
