Early departure from Marrakech towards the High Atlas and Tichka Pass (2260 m). Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, following the ancient caravan route. Lunch and exploration of this architectural gem. Continue to the Dades Gorges via Ouarzazate and the Skoura palm grove. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After a morning walk in the Dades Gorges, head south towards the desert. Stop at the Todra Gorges for a visit and lunch. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani, then proceed to Merzouga. You’ll have the opportunity to take a camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes and enjoy traditional mint tea. Dinner will be served around the campfire, accompanied by traditional nomadic songs. Spend the night at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
In the morning, cross the vast stone desert by vehicle to Alnif. After lunch, continue through the Bougafer massif to reach the oasis of Zagora. Enjoy free time to explore the city, which was the base of the Saadian dynasty that conquered Timbuktu in the 16th century. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Early departure from Zagora heading towards Marrakech. The route follows the Draa Valley to Agdz, a valley lined with palm groves and earthen villages. Lunch at Tamnougalt, an old kasbah in Agdz. Continue across the Anti-Atlas, "Black Mountain," to Ouarzazate and then return to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass. Arrival is expected around 5:00 PM.
