Tour Plan
Early departure towards the High Atlas and the Tichka Pass (2260 m). Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah after crossing the caravan track. Lunch and continue towards Tinghir via Ouarzazate and the Skoura palm grove. Arrive in the late afternoon, dinner, and overnight at the hotel.
Route south through Rissani, known for its date market. After lunch, take a sandy track to Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride to admire the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by traditional mint tea. Dinner around a campfire and overnight stay in the bivouac.
Cross the stony desert to Alnif. After lunch, continue through the Boughafer massif to the oasis of Zagora. Enjoy free time to explore the city and overnight at the hotel.
Visit Tamgroute to see the green pottery workshop and the Koranic library. Return via the Tamnougalt Kasbah near Agdz, passing through the ancient caravan route. Lunch and visit the kasbah, then return to Ouarzazate via the Tizi-N-Tinfifite pass. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Return to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass and the Route of the Laurels. Visit the medina and explore the Djemaa el-Fna Square at sunset, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
