Depart for Tassa Ouirgane (1,500 m) in the Ouirgane Valley, the starting point of our trek to Tiziane (1,800 m). Our route traverses the juniper and sequoia forests of the Toubkal National Park. Along the way, we explore the beautiful Azzadene Valley with its red earth. We also pass through small hamlets and isolated villages.
We leave the Azzadene Valley to ascend to the Tizi 'n Touati pass, which offers a majestic view of the High Atlas range. The descent through an oak forest takes us to Azib Assoul (2,300 m) near Tizgui, where we camp for the night.
Crossing the Tizi 'n Tagoudalte pass (2,700 m) with views of the western High Atlas range. Descend through flowering alpine areas to the village of Tizi Oussem (1,900 m). Afternoon free to explore the village. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Walk to a small waterfall at Azib Tamsoulte and then cross the Tizi 'n Mzik pass (2,500 m). We reach the main Toubkal Valley at Aremd (1,900 m) for the night in a village guesthouse.
Ascension progressive de la vallée du Toubkal via Sidi Chamarouch jusqu'au Refuge du Toubkal (3 200 m), où nous campons au pied du mont Toubkal.
Early departure for the ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. Return to the base camp near the refuge for the night.
Easy descent through Sidi Chamharouch to Imlil. End of the trek with a return to Marrakech, where the rest of the day is free.
