Overview

Erg Chigaga is located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region, about 60 kilometers west of the town of M’hamid El Ghizlane, often considered the starting point for desert excursions. The dunes stretch over a vast area, covering several square kilometers of desert landscapes. The sand dunes vary in size, with some reaching up to 300 meters in height, offering spectacular views and endless vistas of golden sand.
